Professional history

   My name is TJ Hartung. I have over 20 years of  experience that has given me exposure to a wide range of projects as a Business Analyst and IT Manager. These include upgrading ERP systems for two companies and managing them on a daily basis.

   I have written custom MS SQL queries, Access 2000/2003, and Crystal 8.5 Reports to provide supplemental custom reporting not available in standard ERP packages such as Infor Visual Manufacturing ERP system and Expandable II. Examples of these reports include those to track Sales metrics, Capital expenditures ,Labor backlog, and calculation of scrap/drop content in Bills of Materials.

 I have also implemented  wireless barcode systems with touch screens to track labor directly on the shop floor. 

  I have also managed  Windows 2003 Terminal servers, Windows2003, MS SQL 2000, Exchange 2003 servers. I have used  NtBackup to backup all of these systems.

Personal history

  I grew up in a small town, Platteville WI. I enlisted in the Army at 17 to become a machinist. I spent two years in Germany before finishing out my term at Fort Carson, Colorado. As a civilian, I attended Technical Trades Institute where I got my Associates degree in Engineering Design and Drafting. I spent a few years doing CAD drafting where I discovered my love for computers and networks. I transferred into the IT department and have been managing computer systems, networks and fulfilling a business analyst role ever since.
